The Octagon Concert Series

The Octagon is proud of its musical heritage.  As well as a vibrant musical aspect to our worship, we host the highly successful and popular Octagon Concert Series.  The Octagon Concert Series started thirty five years ago in 1984, and ‘Lunchtime Concerts at the Octagon’ in 2009.  It is a non-profit making, self-supporting series of concerts whose purpose is to give concerts of a very high standard and to raise money for charities and good causes, both locally and nationally, usually nominated by the performers.  The Octagon Concert Series is somewhat unusual in that no musician receives any fee or expenses, so that proceeds can be donated to various charities or good causes.  To date, 188 charities or good causes, many more than once, have benefitted from an Octagon Concert Series concert.  Further details of concerts can be found at www.octagonmusic.org.uk or by following on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/OctagonConcertSeries/
